The online diary and calculator
Where are my nights saved? In your browser, on this device only. Nothing goes to a server. If you open the site on another device, in another browser, or in a private window, it will be empty.
How do I keep a copy? Use one of the print buttons under your nights. Your browser’s print dialog lets you save a PDF instead of printing. The report covers the last week or the last two weeks.
I cleared my browser and my nights are gone. Local storage is part of the browser data that gets cleared. There’s no way for us to recover it, because we never had it. Saving a PDF each week is the safest habit.
Why does a night say Partial? It’s missing something the math needs, and it names what. Partial nights stay out of your averages and your sleep window until you add what’s missing.
Why won’t the sleep window open? It needs 7 complete nights in the last two weeks. If you keep your diary on paper, enter your averages in the calculator instead.
How do I start over? “Clear everything in this browser,” at the bottom of the diary page, removes every night and the sleep window from this browser.
The PDFs
The fillable PDF won’t let me type. Some browser previews don’t support form fields. Download the file and open it in a PDF reader such as Preview, Adobe Acrobat Reader, or the Files app on iPhone.
The app
Sleep Toolbox for iPhone, iPad, and Android is coming soon. It isn’t on the App Store or Google Play yet.
